“New Media” or recently adopted digital media and the variations of their delivery, as the term infers, are constantly changing and evolving. Designing applications and content for these new media is a challenging task with perpetually different and increasingly complex goals.

I design and produce software and content that fully utilises technology, optimising performance and maximising impact on the user and the provider. I create entertaining informative and powerful interactive applications.

I am a creative thinker and enjoy the problem solving in any design process. I have a strong visual and spatial sense alongside a deep conceptual knowledge and understanding of different media and their respective disciplines and technologies.

A valuable contributor to a digital or multimedia creative project, I take great pride in my work. From initial brain storming right through to the final release.

I have particular expertise with animated video and audio web applications and technologies. I have been designing graphics and creating animation using paper and a pen with flash, photoshop and illustrator and coding in html css javaScript, actionScript for over 8 years. I am constantly adopting (and sometimes rejecting) new technologies and enjoy working with, managing and learning from other developers and technicians and creatives with specialised talents, knowledge and skills.

I have experience and know a great deal about different forms of delivery of media to different platforms and devices, including web, mobile devices, cd-rom/dvd-rom, and e-cd/e-dvd.

audio & video

A keen musician, photographer and animator, I specialise in producing work that incorporates audio, video and animation. I also enjoy working on music or film projects and have a lot to offer a creative team; able to nurture, develop and encourage as well as taking a lead.

I enjoy and am highly experienced and proficient in working with audio and video in a digital environment. There are many different formats and techniques for producing and delivering audio and video or visual content, I have worked with many and am always keen to try out and possibly adopt new or different combinations or techniques.

A deep interest in music and film and the new artistic possibilities and social implications of digital media means that Magnus's advice as a consultant is often requested by producers and artists of film, video, and music as well as interactive digital media.
